Who we are
Nutmeg Firearms Training provides Connecticut state pistol permit certification classes that are non-NRA-sponsored. Our programs are designed to be accessible and inclusive, centering marginalized groups, low-income individuals, and others who have historically faced barriers to firearm ownership in the United States.
We offer a safe and supportive learning environment for those seeking an alternative to mainstream American gun culture. Our focus is on education, safety, and responsible firearm ownership, ensuring that all participants receive the knowledge and skills needed for licensure and informed decision-making.
Nutmeg Firearms Training is committed to providing an accessible route to firearm education while fostering a respectful and inclusive community.
Please note: We do not provide instruction to law enforcement.
